Returns & Cancellations Policy
At Salt & Mud, your satisfaction is our priority. We offer a transparent and hassle-free return and exchange process in compliance with UAE Consumer Protection Law (Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 and Cabinet Decision No. 66 of 2023).


Return Policy

You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.

To qualify for a return:

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and in their original condition

  • Must include original packaging, tags, and proof of purchase

  • Return requests must be made in advance by contacting info@saltandmud.com

If your return is approved:

  • We’ll send return instructions and a shipping label

  • Returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive a defective, damaged, or wrong item, contact us within 2 business days. We will arrange a replacement, exchange, or full refund — including shipping costs, as required by UAE law.


Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

  • Opened or used personal care products

  • Perishable goods (e.g. food, plants, flowers)

  • Custom-made or personalized items

  • Flammable or hazardous materials

  • Gift cards or sale items

Exchanges

For the fastest service:

  1. Request a return using the process above

  2. Place a new order separately once your return is approved


Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, you’ll be notified of the refund status

  • If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days

  • Your bank or card provider may require extra time to complete the transaction

If it’s been more than 15 business days since your refund approval, please contact us.


Shipping Charges

  • If the return is due to damage, defect, or delayed delivery, we’ll refund the full amount including shipping

  • For all other returns, shipping fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund


Order Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled before shipment for a full refund

  • If the order has shipped, it can still be returned following the policy above

  • In case of delivery delays, you are legally entitled to cancel and receive a full refund including shipping


EU Customers – 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is shipped to an EU country, you may cancel or return it within 14 days of delivery — for any reason — provided the item is unused, in original packaging, and includes proof of purchase.
